A Reflection On Some Of My Photography

I would like to start off by saying one thing:
'I am not a photographer.'

However, that doesn't mean I am incapable of attempting at photography. As I have mentioned in my introductory post, I am one for experimenting with all forms of art. Though I have forgotten to mention that my experiementation with art is something very recent. May it be a recent hobby or an old pasttime of mine, I am not afraid to share my attempts with those who are to be reading this.

Here are a couple of before and afters:

There are a couple of things I would like to say about these images. First of all, these are all similar in a way. They haven't been brought forth by a specific concept, nor were they planned in any way. It is similar to the art of free-writing, in which one just does it. Second of all, I apologise for the last two images as the 'after' was shown before the 'before' - this was not intended.

Thank you for reading!

My Viewpoint On Art

A blog isn't the simplest thing in the world to create. It may be simple, but it isn't the simplest.

I introduce to you my blog in which I have created purely for the fact of expressing my views on various of topics. Though, I do have to admit, the idea was driven through by the task set in my creative writing class at school to create a a piece of non-fiction prose. I have merely chosen to create a blog.

Now, to the main topic, which has been headlined in the title - my viewpoint on art.

Art is something that we all admire and it comes in various of forms. I believe that anyone can express themselves in the form of art. Art comes in various of forms, including and not limited to, writing and visual art. I do not limit myself when it comes to art. I like to experiment with it and to try and expand my horizons.

I feel that Art can be... therapeutic, meaning that it calms one down. For example, free-writing in a diary when one feels the need to vent, or when scribbling/doodling on a piece of paper in moments of sadness and rage. It calms one down and makes them express themselves in a harmless way. That art created could be then edited to become a masterpiece of a sort, when one feels emotionally ready to re-organise or re-create it.

Art is a wonderful thing. And I hope to share my love for it with you.
